 India Exposure, Working Holidays in the Indian Subcontinent: AASW presentation 2004 National Conference Canberra.

 

        • Premised as Australian Social Workers  looking to other parts of the world to seek some fairly innovative ideas in their field of practice

           

        • To combine a fairly relaxing holiday with some networking and exchange of ideas

           

        • To build networks for later use

           

      • Some of the Australian Social Workers have also sought rather challenging assignments - through participation in rehabilitation and rebuilding work after earthquakes,civil strife and after floods.

         

        • Why not contribute your best practice in your field to countries in the Indian subcontinent?

           

        • And on your holiday pick up some yoga, some R &R, some new therapies or even some understanding of what Karma is all about ?

           

        • Starting November 2005 January 2006 the  tour took people to: Hyderabad Mathurai Pondicherry other Pilgrim and Yoga centres(Optional) Circuits under construction are:

    Social change entrepreneurs in its second phase of operation supports all professionals with accreditation  in allied health, human services, clinicians and HRD and Management professionals.

         
        1. will support accredited AASW social workers for CPE points through appropriate legend, supports, supervision and quality assurance.

           

          Will assist with relevant certification for compliance certification for taxation purposes. Especially useful for Australian professionals
